Apple Magic Trackpad Bluetooth Switching
I prefer a trackpad for daily browsing. I use an MX Master for mouse intensive tasks (Figma, etc).
A problem is that I have two laptops sitting on my desk, my $WORK computer and my personal device. Normally I'm on my $WORK device and the trackpad is connected there with Bluetooth, everything works great until I want to use the trackpad on the personal device. I can never get the trackpad to disconnect from the $WORK device and reconnect to my personal device. It wont connect unless I forget it everywhere, turn it off, get it back into discovery and re-pair it.
Then, in an epiphany, I grabbed an old lighting cable and plugged it in to the computer I want to use it with. Boom, connected right away! I can even disconnect it and it stays connected. It's annoying, but at least it works.
